Headed out this morning for some macro photography fun using the 300mm Nikkor, extension tubs, tripod, an old Sigma 105mm f/2.8 macro lens and my old D1H body.
Overcast morning with nice even light and a bit cool for August, perfect for playing with bugs and close-up lenses. The cool air kept the insects slow and easily approachable. The 300mm f/4 and extension tubes helped keep me at a distance with plenty of reach! Here a few photos from this morning quick outing.
