A few photos of two different northern hawk owls photographed in flight, from this winter, 2010 Alberta, Canada.
Wanted to post these photos earlier, but totally forgot to! Anyway, lots more photos of these amazing hawk owls to come, but for now here are a few more from this winter.

Leica M9 does wildlife too…..

Photographed a wild saw-whet owl today ( a tiny owl) with the Leica M9 and the 90mm f/2 Summicron lens, shot wide open as the light was fading fast.

Leica M9 Summarit-M f/2.5 Lens Bokeh Test

Shot wide open, I think it passed, not only in the bokeh department but the sharpness wide open at f/2.5 is amazing :)
