The difference between a spring time Canada goose and the more relaxed summer version is large. These spring geese are very territorial and protective of their mate and the surroundings.

Canada Goose Flying Though Forest Trees

I watched as a few male geese battled for the title of top goose. It was violent but nobody got hurt, but a few feathers ruffled and LOTS of noise!

Interesting to watch, these birds are all about body language, head fakes, bobbing and weaving makes for one tough male canadian goose! But thats not all, these geese will bite, smash and grab so its not all just smoke and mirrors.
