Photographed this male (drake) wood duck in flight last week under overcast skies using the 300mm 2.8 VR. I liked the way it turned out, great colors in nice even light.

Shot this with my Rolleiflex and Kodak Portra 400 film. Nothing like medium format for bokeh goodness! Leica M9 with a few lenses.
These buildings are backlit but the building across the street from them bounced some cool light reflections onto the street and the pub. Must get a beer there soon..

Photographed a wild saw-whet owl today ( a tiny owl) with the Leica M9 and the 90mm f/2 Summicron lens, shot wide open as the light was fading fast.

Shot wide open, I think it passed, not only in the bokeh department but the sharpness wide open at f/2.5 is amazing :)
