Calgary’s Bald Eagles

Late this after noon in Calgary I found a nesting pair of bald eagles. I found the adult pair, then I found the nest, I saw the two young in the nest ( I think two) with mom, then the adult male found me!

I stayed my distance as I didn’t want to disturb them and sat down against a tree and watched. About 30min. went by, they didn’t seem to mind me until five crows started to harass the eagles and got a little too close to the nest! At this point the male came screaming in and the crows made a quick exit. But he wasn’t done, he then came in at me! After these shots I started to move away, with my back to them and now about 150 yards away, I hear the swoosh of the wings, I looked behind me and there he was taking another run at me, YIKES!
Crappy light for photos this afternoon as it was overcast, but here they are in order.
