Bohemian Waxwing Eating Berries
Lucky me, what a treat, eye level bohemian waxwings posing for my camera eating red berries and in total I have around 80 photographs from this session! These are stunning birds, the colours are unreal and right now they are just passing through Calgary on there way to there boreal forests nesting grounds.

The following day I didn’t see one, but last week I did photograph a few bohemian waxwings in-flight in the FCPP area, but not this close and not eating red coloured berries!
These birds are usually seen high up in a tree, too high to photograph unless you catch them feeding. When they are in feed mode, you can approach them fairly closely. Will add these images and many more from this waxwing photo session when I get time
