Description
Another trip through Alberta’s Kananaskis Valley today, this time we took the dirt road from Canmore all the way down hwy 40. Around every corner was another amazing vista, I just cant get enough of the Kananaskis Valley!
The wildlife is everywhere and our first encounter was with this coyote.
We saw a total of three coyotes today, but we got good and close to this one as he didnt seem to mind us at all.
But that not all we photographed, this moose was happily feeding in about a foot of water, this was our second moose of the day.
We also ran into a cougar warning sign that a cougar was in the area, no sighting though! We also found a few of these signs for bears in the area.
Lastly, this young mountain sheep. We watched him graze then climb what seemed to an impossible slope/cliff.
Another amazing day touring Alberta’s Kananaskis Valley
